ayrıca kendisinin devils and dust'tan sonra çıkardığı ilk solo lp bu. arkasında e street band yok yani. 2012 tarihli wrecking ball'dan sonra ilk orijinal üretimi diyebiliriz (high hopes'un çoğu cover ve eski kayıtlardan oluşuyordu). kendisi kısa süre içinde yeni bir e street band albümü yazacağını ve 2020 için bir turne planladıklarını belirtmiş yakın tarihli bir röportajında. artık iyice güçten düşene kadar devam edecektir. zira kendisi moruklayana, iyice yaşlanana kadar devam etmek istediğini sıklıkla söylüyor.
